1. Grand Theft Auto V

This entry, which contains a much more interactive, polished and improved version of Los Santos last seen in GTA San Andreas, is back with much more brutal, violent gameplay.

After some waiting, the best version has finally come; the PC version of GTA V. This version contains the Online feature as well as a First Person Mode, allowing players to experience the beautiful Los Santos and Blaine County in a new perspective the series has never taken before. And another feature that makes its launch is the Rockstar Editor. The Editor gives you a huge set of creative tools to make the funniest, goofiest movie you can, allowing you to capture, edit and share game footage to all your friends.

GTA V is an open-world, action-adventure game. As any other GTA, you complete missions to unravel the story.  Going through the story missions gives you more gameplay content, which makes it even more fun to explore the vast open-world.  You can fight enemies fist-to-fist, throw some of your favorite explosives at them or use a vast selection of firearms.

Steal cars, rob trucks, help out thugs (or stop them), customize…..There is just so much things you can do, and placing lots of cars together and blowing them up never gets old.

Congrats, Rockstar, you really nailed it and made a believable world. A lot of passion was put it into it, and it shows, making it the best GTA since Vice City and San Andreas.

2. DOTA

DOTA 2 is one of the best free-to-play games you will play. Even if you have friends to play with or not, you will spend a huge amount of time mastering the depth of this game.

So, what kind of free-to-play is it? It’s a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena), a very competitive game that requires lots of strategy and reflex. Dota 2 is also really popular on the E-sports scene and has a huge fan base of millions worldwide.

If you ever played Warcraft 3 you may have heard of the mod called Defense of the Ancients, also known as DOTA. This is where Dota 2 came from which features the characters from the original and includes some new features.  You play matches between two 5-player teams; the Radiant (bottom-left of the map) and the Dire (top-right of the map). The objective of the game is to destroy the other sides Ancient Building.

Hearthstone is a free-to-play card game based on the Warcraft universe.  It’s tailored to all kinds of players, and features nine epic Warcraft heroes to choose from, each who have their own unique set of cards, spells and abilities. Take turns strategically placing a good combination of cards and spells to counter the opponent’s cards, plus using your heroes’ abilities and summoning powerful creatures to defeat your foe.

Each player that plays the game for the first time starts with basic cards that each class has, but later on they can purchase and collect more powerful and rare cards for their class. The game doesn’t have card trading but you can still destroy your useless cards and craft new ones using the arcane dust you get from obliterating your card. This allows the player to customize their deck the way that best suits the way they play.

4. Overwatch

A rebellion of the robots started, causing a huge conflict worldwide.  A force was needed to end this. “Overwatch”, an organization by the United Nations to stop the robot threat from enslaving mankind was formed.  It didn’t work. Crime slowly increased around the world. Allegations of corruption started. All that led to the destruction of Overwatch headquarters, which killed both the leader, Jack Morrison, and his second in command, Gabriel Reyes.

And so, Overwatch was disbanded. But, it’s not over. Tensions between humans and robots called Omnics have started again after six years. Winston, a gorilla scientist, illegally reconnects the Overwatch network and begins the Overwatch Recall, bringing back all the agents to business once again. The game begins.

Overwatch is Blizzard’s first new IP in about 20 years. It’s quite different from their other games, too. It’s an arena shooter, with lots of detailed and varied characters. Out of the 21 heroes, you’re bound to find one that suits your play style. Each player is important to the team, as well as the hero he chooses. Choosing the right hero for the right strategy can have a huge impact on the course of the match.

The game is played between two teams of six players. Players get to choose from one of many heroes available, heroes that each have their own unique set of abilities. They are divided into four classes: Offense, Defense, Tank and Support. If you played Team Fortress 2, securing and defending control points on a map will be familiar to you. As well as escorting a payload across the map in a limited amount of time.

5. Heroes of the Storm

Heroes of the Storm is a free-to-play MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) from Blizzard that includes characters from all of their franchises, such as Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo. You can customize the heroes to suit the way you play by selecting talents which you get by leveling up.

The game, like any other MOBA, places you in a 5 v 5 online match. Out of the 53 heroes in the game, a new player will have six heroes available to play with that will get replaced by different heroes every week. But, if you really like a hero in that weekly rotation, and you got used to him so much that you just don’t want to lose him the next week, then you can use the gold coins that you earn in game to purchase that favorite hero of yours. And once you do, you will have him forever, and ever.

This team brawler features four types of heroes: Warrior, Assassin, Support, and Specialist. All these types of heroes are useful for different kinds of situations, each with their own pros and cons, so choose the one that suits you best.

Overall, Heroes of the Storm is a nice new game in the MOBA genre that is fun to play for all kinds of players. It’s decently balanced, and all the heroes are satisfying to play with, each in their own way.

6. League of Legends        

League of Legends is a free-to-play MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena), the spiritual successor to the Warcraft 3 mod: DOTA.  Teamwork and strategic play are key to winning in this game, and is why it offers such an amazing gaming experience ever since it released in 2009.

In this game, you are called a “Summoner”. As the Summoner, you take control of a “champion” which you use to fight other champions in a 5 v 5 team match. Get stronger as the match progresses and show everyone who the actual champion really is!

But, all aspiring champions have a beginning, and so the game starts with rather weak champions to keep the game balanced which later become stronger as you progress and dominate the opponents.

We’ve all heard of Counter-Strike, and have probably played one of the games in the franchise at some point. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Is the fourth game in the franchise, developed by Hidden Path Entertainment and published by Valve. The game features small, team-based first person shooter maps where, once you die, it’s over, no re-spawn until the next round. So, be careful what you do, as your death may make the difference between winning, and losing.

As any Counter-Strike game, Global Offensive is an objective, team-based multiplayer FPS (first-person shooter). Join the Terrorist team if you like planting bombs and AK47s, or the Counter-Terrorist team if you like defusing bombs and M4A1s. The game’s objective isn’t just about bombs, though, that’s just one of the game modes the series is most known for. You have other game modes such as Hostage rescue, Deathmatch, and so on. The game has short rounds that end when everyone on one of the teams is dead or the objective is accomplished.

At the start of each match you purchase weapons and equipment using the money that the game rewards you based on how good you and your team did in the previous round. You can lose money if you kill a teammate or hostage, but if you don’t go trigger happy and complete objectives or kill enemies instead of your pals, then you get money. You also get some money after the end of each round, but you get more if you’re on the winning team.

Yarr! Looking to sail the seas, matey? Look no further, Windward is the game you’re looking for!

Windward is a multiplayer sandbox game that consists of a large procedurally-generated world.. The story is simple; it’s about a man, his ship, and their endeavor to obliterate everyone within close distance of the beach.

10. Kingdom Under Fire II

Kingdom Under Fire II is the long awaited sequel that takes place around 150 years after the events seen in Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders. The game features the two factions from the previous title, The Human Alliance and Dark Legion.

But, this game also introduces a new faction: The Encablossians. The purpose of this faction is to reaffirm the Cycle of Light and Dark Ages by wiping out the current Age of Light, which has been going far longer than it should. Regnier (seen in previous Kingdom Under Fire titles) is the faction leader. He allied with the Encablossa while he was stuck helpless in the Dark Dimension. A new variety of playable characters also appears in this sequel.

Kingdom Under Fire II is a mix of 3 genres. It’s an MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) title, it’s a real-time strategy (RTS) game, but it’s also an action RPG (role-playing game). It combines up all these genres and creates a huge battlefield of thousands of troops fighting it out on a massive scale.

In RPG mode you control your hero in third-person view. In RTS mode you get a bird’s eye view of the massive scale of the battle, allowing you to order and control your troops. The “Raid” game mode throws 8 players or more that have to work together to take down computer controlled bosses. There’s also a PvP (Player vs. Player) system where you can show off your skills and prove what a ninja boss you really are.

The game features three classes to choose from: Berserker, Gunslinger and Spellsword. You have full control of your character and, just like any RPG, you can run around and slash your enemies with your fellow troops following and helping you out. As any RTS, you can control your units and use them strategically to take down walls and provide advantages.

You know how they say: “The sky is the limit”? Well, in this case it’s not. Riders of Icarus gives you the ability to explore a vast world with a variety of creatures, from big flying dragons to fast, savage, ruthless beasts.  Now you can follow the instructions on How to Train Your Dragon. Each creature has its own unique abilities, so gather a group of dragon riders and engage in legendary boss battles.

12. Killing Floor 2

Killing Floor 2 is a game about shooting zombies called Zeds that infected the world in the first Killing Floor, and continue to do so. They come in large numbers and are not exactly the same Zeds we’ve been used to. These Zeds are now smarter, stronger, more strategic and surprising as the game progresses. Can you and your friends survive the endless slaughtering of the Zeds and destroy them all? Or will you all fall, one by one, slowly massacred by the huge hordes of Zeds?

It’s the successor to the popular acclaimed first-person shooter Killing Floor developed by Tripwire Interactive, and it’s currently in Early Access on Steam. 13. Left 4 Dead 2

Left 4 Dead 2 is a co-op FPS sequel to the critically acclaimed Left 4 Dead. Play as one of the four survivors stuck in the zombie apocalypse: Nick, Ellis, Rochelle and Coach. Fight your way through cities, swamps, carnivals and cemeteries of the Deep South.

14. Rust

Rust is a big multiplayer open-world survival game developed by Facepunch Studios, released as an Early Access title on Steam. Make large fortresses using the building system in an attempt to defend yourself from bandits and survive.

There is no predefined objective in Rust. You can do whatever you want to survive. Build a shelter, hunt animals for food, collect water, fight bandits or try and team up with other fellow survivors.

Trust is key to survival. Who is the traitor here?

It’s a tough and cruel world. Start out finding resources, crafting tools, and so on. But, the most dangerous thing Rust is filled with is: players. You can’t disable combat, you have to either side with the players if you trust them, or run away if you have no way to defend yourself. 15. Shattered Skies

The moon has been shattered. A comet hit the moon causing it to shatter into millions of pieces which got pulled down by the Earth’s gravity. The result: thousands and thousands of meteoric impacts. Hell has broken loose on Earth. Humans have found out that they can use the energy of the crystals, but, will they survive from the new ferocious creatures roaming a once peaceful world?

Shattered Skies puts players on a dangerous open-world sandbox infested with aliens, mutated humans, and many other survivors. You’ll be able to play the game both in third-person and first-person view combined, with a priority on looting.

The game is being developed by Free Reign Entertainment, who describes their game as an “open-world sandbox looter shooter”. Romero’s Aftermath, the developers previous project, probably has some impact on the kind of horror game this will be. The open beta launches this summer, with a possible release later this year.

ARMA 3 is a massive open-world military simulation developed by Bohemia Interactive. This is truly the “PC’s premier military game”. Players go to war on the Mediterranean islands of Altis and Stratis, covering over 290 km2 of terrain. Quake Champions is an upcoming first-person arena-based shooter developed by id Software and Saber Interactive, published by Bethesda Softworks. Quake is finally back. After the success of the new Wolfenstein games and DOOM, Quake is up next. The classic old-school fast arena shooter returns.

Black Desert Online has a sad story about four countries that trade together. One of the countries called Valencia has brought the “Black Death” to the rest of the countries, causing all four countries to suffer losses of thousands and thousands of citizens. A 30-year war begins with Valencia to blame for the losses.

As the war slowly begins to calm down, countries start setting up trade agreements with Valencia once again. But, Valencia gets torn into 2 divided countries, each fighting for the Black Stones, a powerful energy resource.

The desert is filled with the Black Stones located in between the two countries. The desert is known as the “Black Desert” by the citizens of Calpheon and the “Red Desert” by the citizens of Valencia. Now you come in. Tell your own story and take your role in the middle of this eternal war.

Black Desert Online is a MMORPG developed by Korean game developer Pearl Abyss and published by Daum Games. The game takes a stunningly fresh take on MMO genre, offering a beautiful player-driven sandbox world full of life.

19. Lost Ark

Lost Ark is an upcoming top-down open-world MMORPG that mixes atmospheric exploration with fast paced gameplay. Apart from having open-world environments, there will also be instanced raids. Discover beautiful islands as you set sail exploring the World Map on your ship.

Developed by Korean game company Smilegate, it is not yet sure if the game will be free-to-play or not. Some contents of the game will include mini-games, raids, a dungeon system, PvP arenas and more. There isn’t a lot of info about the game so far. Only some things were revealed in the long gameplay video.

The dungeons are one of the main reasons players seem to be excited about playing Lost Ark for. In the trailer you can see the boss chasing down your party through the dungeon. You start fighting the beast once you reach the top of the map. Apart from going out slashing things in dungeons, there’s a bunch of other things to do like hunting field bosses, hanging out in town, exploring new regions, and much more. Lots of hidden areas await to be revealed. And not just hidden areas, even hidden quests.

Travel anywhere in the world of Lost Ark using your own ship. Set sail on the high seas and discover new places in your adventurous explorations. You can also see other player’s ships sailing the seas. This makes the game truly feel like an MMORPG. Go treasure-hunting to find that hidden loot by using the ships crane. Go on long adventures and uncover lots of different and interesting areas.

It’s been 3 years of development so far. Hopefully all that time spent will truly show what a great game the developers have crafted.

20. Tree of Savior

Tree of Savior is a free-to-play MMORPG made by IMC Games and published by Nexon. Based on the traditional Lithuanian culture and mythology, you set out on an adventure to find the goddesses in the midst of a world of chaos. The graphics of the game truly immerse you into feeling like you just entered a fairy tale.

Begin by choosing one of four classes: Swordsman, Cleric, Wizard or Archer.  As you progress through the game and level up, you will have new classes available to choose. Go through dungeons to upgrade your gear, but you better go in as a team. There are over 200 unique bosses, and you may encounter one of them that will require working as a team to beat. So grab some friends or find someone that also needs help, you don’t want to go solo on these bosses.

There are also guilds you can join where you can participate in giant-scale battles or you can just test your skills out in the arena alone.

The stunning world has tons of detailed characters and scenery that you’ll want to come back to time and time again. But, you probably won’t enjoy this game if you’re rather impatient. This game puts you back in the times when MMORPGs had much more freedom and simplicity, highlighted by the risk of failure. Progressing and customizing your hero is an activity of affection, but the levels and new maps are fast to play through so the game balances things out itself.

Old-school gamers are likely to enjoy Tree of Savior, and I highly recommend it to them and any gamer that wants to get that feel.

21. Lineage Eternal: Twilight Resistance

The game is set in a fantasy world two hundred years after the Armies of Good lost against the Forces of Darkness.  Nearly two centuries since the tragic collapse, the Armies of Good rise up from their fall and begin their journey to end the regime of evil. War starts once again, and it is you that will step in and decide the fate of the world.

Create your character and choose from various classes available, such as: Warrior, Mage and Elemental Archer. Once you’re done, set out in a world filled with adventure in a bird’s eye view, featuring dynamic combat made for dominating huge hordes of foes. With this also come big battles that even have siege combat.

Use the Telekinesis ability to throw monsters away causing splash damage to the monster crowd.

A new feature the game introduces never seen before is being able to hold the mouse button to draw lines of attacks, giving you more control over the combat mechanics and new ways of taking out your enemies. Characters each have a range of different, new skills and teaming up with other players plays a vital role in progression.

Published by NCSoft Korea and in-development by Team Eternal, the 6-minute gameplay trailer reveals some superb graphics and gameplay. The video narrated in Korean (no English version, sadly) lasts long enough to show a few features and great boss battles.

22. Titanfall 2

Titanfall 2 brings a futuristic experience that puts man in control of machine. This sequel introduces a single-player campaign that lets beloved fans step out on The Frontier as a new soldier aspiring to become one of the elite Pilots.

Thrown against devastating odds behind enemy lines, you must team up with a seasoned Titan to complete a mission that you were never meant to do.

Multiplayer is where Titanfall 2 is at. It delivers a fast-paced experience with tons of depth and variety featuring new Pilot abilities, new customization options, six new Titans and an improved progression system to delight fans and newcomers alike.

You’ve probably stumbled upon the common annoying problem popular new multiplayer games have: the requirement of needing a minimum amount of friends to play. Titanfall 2 solves this headache inducing problem.

23. Life is Feudal: Your Own

Life is Feudal: Your Own is a realistic medieval multiplayer sandbox that gives you the option to host your own world that can go up to 64 players and allows you to set your own rules. Build your house wherever you want with the games terraforming and building features.

Grab your friends and make your city or village and defend it from dangerous players that look to burn and steal everything you’ve achieved. Build big walls for your castle and set up defenses to make it harder for them to get to your important resources. It’s best to do it together with a few friends or players, as it will be very hard for you to keep an eye on everything alone that’s needed to survive.

The game features realistic physics based combat. There is no target lock on. You must accurately aim the body part you want to hit, as well as think about choosing the right weapon to deal the most damage.

Watch out for bears!

Make use of the original combat formation system to successfully lead your group to victory. Issue commands as a group leader to manage formations. Set up a wall, wedge or circle formation. The bigger your group formation, the higher the chance there is to beating your foes. Keep the group organized and you’re sure to win those that don’t have a well-prepared army.

Life is Feudal does not limit your skill progression with classes or roles. The game simply lets you form your character and play the way you want. You will have to progress your skills though to survive in this huge 9 million square meters medieval world. There’s a bunch of ways to help you progress your skills. From smelting and forging to farming and cooking, there are plenty of things to do and each of these things will require lots of attention and understanding. Recipes for alchemy are randomized for each character, so you don’t go on a wiki site or ask players to help you out, leaving you to figure things out on your own.

24. Chivalry: Medieval Warfare

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is a fast-paced medieval first-person and third-person action game that brings a movie blockbuster feel to limb-slashing, head flying blood baths of multiplayer battles. You’re put into a fictional medieval world where two forces are fighting it out for control of the lands of Agatha: the Agathian Knight and the Mason Order.

Developed by Torn Banner Studios, their first commercial game puts focus on multiplayer and mostly melee combat. Fight in first-person or third-person view with a variety of medieval weapons, such as: swords, shields, maces, battleaxes and longbows. Use siege weapons like ballistae, catapults, boiling oil, battering ram to destroy the enemy’s defenses.

One wrong move and off goes the head.

The game’s matches feature objective-based gameplay, like breaching a castle, raiding villages, looting and so on. There is no single-player campaign, but you can play offline matches with computer-controlled soldiers.

With a deep skill-based melee combat system, the game gives you many ways to decapitate your foes. This makes for some bloody but sometimes even funny moments of heads flying. Overall, It’s a great and violent fun game for anyone looking to go back to the medieval times.

25. World of Warships

World of Warships is the naval game you’ve been looking for. Order a massive naval fleet, level up tech modules, choose from four classes of ships with tons of upgrades, experience vast strategically designed maps and put yourself in control of the best war vessels seen in history.

Developed and published by the popular World of Tanks developer and publisher, Wargaming, World of Warships is a free-to-play online multiplayer game about battleships. Featuring team-based gameplay, choose from one of four types of classes: Destroyers, Cruisers, Battleships and Aircraft carriers. Each class has ten tiers of vessels.

The game puts you in matches that have similar-tier ships like yours and randomly puts you in one of the teams to keep things balanced. Play co-operative mode and join up with a big amount of players fighting against computer-controlled ships, or just go for the random battle mode that is the classic battle between two teams of players. The objective is said at each start of a match, and each ship has their own pros and cons. Organize and strategize as a team to secure victory.

Featuring tons of content and a good amount of variety in classes and skills, World of Warships is a fun and accessible free-to-play game that anyone can play, and is one of Wargaming’s greatest games so far.

26. Path of Exile

Path of Exile is a free-to-play online action RPG set in a dark fantasy world. You are an Exile waking up on the shores on the dark continent of Wraeclast, which once used to be the pinnacle of a powerful empire but is now left a ruined, cursed land filled with criminals and other people from the nearby island of Oriath. Group up with other fellow Exiles to take your revenge and survive the brutal wilderness and deadly colonists amongst the secrets and ruins of Vaal civilization and Eternal Empire.

You control your character from a top-down view and uncover various underground caves, dungeons and outdoor areas, doing quests and slashing monsters to get experience points and loot. Each area except for the central encampments is randomly generated, making the game feel different each time you play.

With superb and deep character customization and gameplay, developer Grinding Gear Games, despite being a small team, still managed to craft such an amazing game that rivals the many other big free-to-play games.

27. Tom Clancy's: The Division

It was Black Friday. The day terrible things happened and devastated New York City. Companies, services, everything has fallen. No food or water, everything has gone to chaos in just a few days. A self-governing unit of tactical operatives called The Division has been activated.

Tom Clancy’s: The Division puts you in the shoes of a Division agent in which you are forced to tackle the effects of a virus and the organization behind such a horrible plan.

Developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft, The Division is a multiplayer open-world third-person shooter that takes place in Manhattan featuring destructible environments that the player can freely explore. You must bring back peace by uncovering and stopping the origin of the virus.

Bring three weapons and explosives with you and be prepared at every corner to fight against the many thugs:

Rikers Gang - A criminal gang that broke out from Rikers Island Prison;

Cleaners – A group of workers wearing hazmat suits that were trapped in quarantine zones equipped with flamethrowers, set out to clean New York from the virus by burning everyone;

Last Man Battalion – Is a private military company led by Charles Bliss, who are hired by rich Wall Street companies to protect valuable assets during the epidemic.

The game is still fun if you play solo but it’s a much better experience if you go as a group of 4 players.

Watch out, you never know when someone is behind your back.

One of the features players were most excited about is the Dark Zone. This area features the best loot in the game you can find, but it’s also the area where you can PvP, so watch out for enemy players. While the map may not be huge, it certainly has a ton of depth, allowing you to explore buildings and vast underground subway systems.

With no loading screens and an emphasis on co-op gameplay, The Division is one of the most fun co-op online experiences in the past few years.

Featuring deep RPG elements and strategic gameplay, you are bound to have a lot of fun playing solo and a ton of more fun playing with your friends.

28. H1Z1: King of the Kill

H1Z1: King of the Kill is a fast-paced fight-to-the-death shooter, currently in Early Access. Play either the Battle Royale or Ignition game mode. The objective is to be the last man standing in these large PvP battles.

Shoot first, or get shot first in this arena style gameplay. It’s a pretty simple game. Drop in the arena and get going.

Get weapons and gear, or sneak up on someone and take him out and loot his stuff. Getting a vehicle is pretty useful too. There are three weapon slots, so make sure you get the weapons that have ammo.

There’s a bunch of server modes too. Either way it all comes down to surviving and becoming the last man standing in the arena warzone.

29. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six is back with the newest installment that brings players in intense close-quarter combat. Rainbow Six Siege, inspired by actual counter-terrorists, puts players in highly destructible environments that require lots of tactical teamwork.

It is a first-person multiplayer team-based tactical shooter that puts players in control of either a counter-terrorist unit part of the Rainbow team, or a terrorist. Matches consist of lots of small bits of shooting to save ammo, strategizing, placing traps and reinforcing destroyable walls. Five players per team, the game has no respawns and no health regeneration which make each match intense.

Get ready to breach!

The game is multiplayer focused, with only bots to play with offline. The Rainbow team or Counter-Terrorists must either defuse two bombs, save the hostage, or secure a biohazard room from the Terrorists who are inside the building and setting up defenses and traps to prevent the Rainbow team from succeeding.

This game truly feels amazing when playing with an organized team. The community is great and they truly play the game the way it should be played: tactically. Get immersed into a destructible adrenaline-pumping tactical first-person shooter in which you’ll spend hundreds of matches playing with both friends and the community.

30. Battlefield 1

Battlefield 1 is the game fans have been asking for. Set during WW1, players will go through a vast amount of historical locations. From the Italian shore to the Arabian deserts, uncover the good old Battlefield gameplay through a campaign filled with journey, or take to the big multiplayer 64 player battles. Use the original World War 1 weapons and vehicles as you go on land, fly to the air and set sail on the sea.

In Battlefield 1 you’ll experience a variety of battles that span across numerous fronts. Conquer territories and push back the offense, run through the battlefield with your fellow soldiers and break through the enemy’s defenses. Battlefield 1 is a first-person shooter set to make war feel even more intense and exciting.

The game keeps the many features from previous entries in the series, but puts vehicles in a much bigger light then typically seen, such as the bi- and tri-planes, airships, first-generation tanks, and even soldiers on horseback will make an appearance. WW1 wasn’t just all about trench warfare, and Battlefield 1 is setting out to show that. Melee combat also comes with higher priority than in previous games. Battlefield 1 will include chemical weapons such as the Mustard Gas which was used a lot back in WW1. There will of course be gas masks to counter it, too.

Immerse yourself in the dark times of World War 1.

Battlefield 1 is trying to go back to the time fans have most wanted to see made, and Battlefield 1 is answering to the fans with this entry in the series that is set to release on October 21, 2016. Use spiked maces, trench spades or swords to bash the enemy’s skull in close-quarters combat.

Battlefield 1 looks visually stunning thanks to the amazing Frostbite engine. This seems like it will be one of the best Battlefield games ever, and let’s hope the developers succeed in doing so.

31. World of Warcraft: Legion

The Tomb of Sargeras has reopened, and now the demons of the Burning Legion are coming into the world and are looking to summon the Dark Titan to Azeroth. Unfortunately, they have already found the key. The Alliance and Horde are helpless. It is up to you explore the ancient Broken Isles for relics of the Titans, find Warcraft’s most powerful artifacts and defeat the Legion before Azeroth is doomed. 32. Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls

The Lords of Hell rage in fury, screaming for revenge and freedom in the Black Soulstone artifact. Malthael, the Angel of Death puts himself in the grim realms to steal the Black Soulstone and twist its wicked power for his own use.

Malthael is the main antagonist in this new chapter, and we can see why the Angel of Death now has the Reaper of Souls title in the intro cutscene. He’s on a quest to massacre mankind to end the conflict between angels and demons forever, by getting more people turned to his massive dead army.

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls is the first expansion pack to the popular action RPG, Diablo III. The expansion features a new class called the Crusader, who features a blend of ranged and melee attacks. There’s also a great new campaign act, and a new Adventure mode.

The expansion adds some great content to the game and improves and polishes the whole game entirely, giving a much better experience to fans of the series.

33. Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

You are witnessing the last years of the Calradic Empire. A diverse set of factions ancestral to the ones seen in Warband are fighting to rule the lands of Calradia. On whose side are you on? Who will you help take over Calradia?

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a prequel to the popular action-RPG, Mount & Blade: Warband.  The game takes place 200 years before Warband in a bigger, improved version of the medieval fictional land: Calradia.

Bannerlord brings a variety of new features like massive multiplayer battles where players fight to the death on a large map.

The game also introduces gameplay features such as crafting, dynamically changing seasons and a realistic in-game economy. New siege engines were also added to give you new ways to breach walls in Siege battles.

Developer TaleWords has added fully voiced dialogue, improved quests that have different endings depending on what you do; motion capture technology has been used for character animations as well as facial animations, with much better lip synching. The game of course also looks much better with higher detailed character models. Lots of factions and NPCs that feature improved artificial intelligence fight you and each other to rule the continent of Calradia.

New diplomacy, siege warfare, hundreds of characters charging on screen, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord brings you the role-playing simulation you’ve always wanted.

TaleWorlds claims it will put many new requested features, some that were even mods in Warband, as well as feature much more “up-close and personal medieval combat on a huge scale, bigger, bloodier and more intense than ever before”.

34. Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide

Vermintide is an action online co-op set in the End Times of the Warhammer universe. You play as a heroic band of four adventurous heroes and fight the Skaven, a bunch of angry rats in the city of Ubersreik. Team up with your friends and go out on the dirty streets to exterminate this rat epidemic.

It’s basically a first-person multiplayer shooter developed and published by Fatshark.

Choose from one of five heroes each designed with a diverse set of skills and different playing styles. Earn loot like trinkets and weapons at the end of each level and experience points to unlock weapons and roll the dice to get some new gadgets. Each character gets different loot and playing on the highest difficulty ensures you get lots of more loot.

Off with your head, vermin!

Vermintide features a great melee system with a great mix of classes. There’s lots of replay value and the animations and sounds are great.

Melee combat is beautiful in this game. Grab a Warhammer, an axe or a sword and crush the glowing red eyes of those overwhelming highly detailed vermins. There’s also a bunch of ranged weapons such as bows, guns, magical rods and more you can use to headshot those rats.

The enemies are randomly generated, meaning even if you play the same level a few times, you’ll never know at which spots the Skaven appear at. The game is not about getting the highest amount of kills, it’s a game about teamwork and survival.

Vermintide is a great dark Warhammer co-op game that is sure to rival the many other co-op games on the market.

35. For Honor

For Honor is a competitive third-person hack and slash set during the medieval period. Immerse yourself into the campaign or play online in the bloody war between The Legion (Knights), The Chosen (Samurai) and The Warborn (Vikings).

Set a thousand years after a cataclysm destroyed their world they now have regained their lost strength and are ready for an all-out war between each other.

Featuring a tactical combat system described as “The Art of Battle” by the developers, you enter a dueling mode with another player which gives you the ability to position your sword the way you want. You can attack in three directions: from above, to the right and to the left.

The game wants you to "feel the weight of the weapon in [your] hand". You can also damage your teammates, so be careful not to hit them.

Other features also include different classes that have different abilities and weapons, as well as a variety of customization. You can change the armor and gender of the character.

Competitive multiplayer modes allow up to 8 players split into two different teams. You’ll also have the help of a large amount of AI teammates. Take out a few enemies to level up and gain Feats; perks that allow players to call in a barrage of arrows, a catapult attack, to gain additional points and strengths or to heal themselves.

For Honor looks stunning with all the amazing detail on the knights and beautiful combat gameplay. In development by Ubisoft Montreal, the game looks like it will be a lot of fun to run around the fort and experience the intense one-to-one sword duels.

Will you play as the Knights, or the brave and strong Vikings, or the cunning and swift Samurai? Either way, let’s hope the developers succeed in making a great and polished medieval dueling game, scheduled for release on February 14, 2017.

Rules are mostly the same like the card game first released in 1993, Magic: The Gathering. You have a deck of cards that have various lands and spells. What are lands? Well, lands are cards you use to refill mana, the resource used to cast spells.

The game has many kinds of spells, from your regular creatures that are used to attack and defend to one-time effects and sorceries. You play in turns placing land cards, using spells and attacking your foe until one of you completely loses health.

You can play the game offline against a computer or jump in to Versus Battle if you want to play against your friend or any random stranger or go for the Two-Headed Giant mode where you can play together as a team with your friend against another team. The Elder Scrolls: Legends is yet another collectible card game that includes cards based on creatures, characters and lore found in the series. There are many gameplay modes and challenges that are easy to understand, but hard to be the best at.

Tailored to all kinds of players, the game features gameplay that’s accessible to new players that want to play quick, and veteran players that want to go in depth with the huge variety of decks and strategies that make each match differ from the last.

Don't let your opponent fool you!

There is a “choose two” deck-building system which gives you the choice to choose from two of the game’s five traits: Strength, Endurance, Agility, Intelligence and Willpower. Making different combinations of traits gives your deck a different, special “class”, lots that you’ll probably recognize if you played The Elder Scrolls games.

Choosing the right avatar will help you increase card collection towards the theme of the avatar, other than that it has no impact on what kind of cards you can use. Card sets are shown by the ten races of Tamriel. If you play as, say, a Redguard, you can collect weapon cards and creatures that benefit from weapons faster than if you played a different race.

Even in this card game you’ll be able to make decisions in the campaign that reward you with various cards and impact how the game plays out.  The choices can even alter your approach of the Battle and Arena modes.

Each game in the series always had amazing rich lore, and Legends does not change that. You’re put right into Tamriel with all your favorite races, characters and creatures with a great story through the exciting campaign.

38. Duelyst

Duelyst is a free-to-play fast-paced tactics game that mixes up the best things about card games and turn-based strategy games to create a fresh, unique blend of gameplay.

Choose from one of six factions to play as on the five-by-nine board, each with their own unique units and play styles: Lyonar, Songhai, Vetruvian, Abyssian, Magmar and Vanar.

Duelyst gives players a long but optional tutorial that gives you various kinds of puzzles to solve, which by completing them rewards you with gold that helps you start off collecting cards and preparing to climb up the ranks. With 45 positions on the board, the amount of ways to solve your problems is endless.

Think ahead, each move is important, one wrong move can cause serious problems.

Something along the lines of Hearthstone’s Arena mode is The Gauntlet, a classic draft style mode in which you choose 30 cards one-by-one from a random set of three. The Gauntlet is a nice mode for those that have limited card pools or are interested in deck building, and it also gives you rewards which helps in collecting cards.

Duelyst provides a huge amount of strategies and play styles for each class, making every match feel different and still fun. With the high amount of replay value this game offers, you are sure to find yourself playing it for a long time uncovering new strategies and ways to use your units.

39. Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward

Heavensward begins the story from the tortures of treason. Travel to the beautiful city-state of Ishgard as a refugee to remove your name from crime and bring back peace to the lands whilst helping out a new country with its own troubles. It may seem like a lovely place on the surface, but, there is still a few echoing of disloyalty boiling just below the surface.

This is an expansion pack to the fantasy MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. The expansion includes new areas which have islands floating in the sky and zones of snowy mountains. To help the player navigate these areas, flying mounts have been added into the game giving you the ability to fly in a zone like it’s a nice new mini-game. Three new jobs have also been added: Dark Knight, Machinist and Astrologian.

Now you can fly to the skies with the newly added flying mounts.

A new playable race called the Au Ra has also been added. The new race lets you play as massive men or small yet ferocious females. Old classes have also gotten a few changes.

New dungeons have lots of variety and some difficulty to stop the boredom of grinding. You can almost solo the entire expansion with the exception of some dungeons and bosses.

Heavensward is a great expansion pack that brings a whopping nine new areas, a story that can top the main game one and three new jobs to mess around with. This is an expansion packed with content and is sure to keep you playing for a long time.

40. SMITE

SMITE is a free-to-play third-person MOBA that lets players play as gods from ancient mythology. Get in the arena with your powers and fight.

Developed and published by Hi-Rez Studios, Smite includes a few game modes with Conquest being the biggest. Two teams of five players each begin at opposite sides of the map at their team’s Titan. You start with some amount of gold which you can use to buy starting items that grant you bonuses or abilities.

Choose which god you want to play as and destroy the opposing Phoenixes and the main objective, the Titan, which is a giant champion that can fight back. Gods have the regular attack and four abilities that can do: crowd control, area of effect damage, give buffs and so on.

Experience the MOBA genre in intense third-person action.

What makes Smite unique from other MOBAs is that you play the game in third-person instead of the usual top-down view. There are 78 mythological gods you can choose from, such as gods like Zeus who can throw lightning at his enemy’s face.

There is a free weekly rotation of 10 gods, giving new players a nice amount of variety, plus if you play long enough you can easily unlock other gods.

Smite is one of the most popular MOBAs today thanks to its great idea with polished maps, detailed gods and superb gameplay.

41. Street Fighter 5

Street Fighter V brings a set of 16 characters, both new and old, each with different fighting styles and identities to this sequel running on the Unreal Engine 4.

This is the fifth main numbered installment in the competitive fighting series published by Capcom and co-developed with Dimps, released in February 2016. Just like the older games, the game features a side-scrolling fighting gameplay system. A new feature called the “V-Gauge” comes in play, filling up while you get hit and it also adds three new skills. The games launch included 16 characters, with 4 new ones and there’s probably more to come in the future.

Every character can use three V-abilities: V-Skills, V-Reversals and V-Triggers. They only require simple combinations to pull off, but using them at the right time in a battle is what requires thinking and reflex.

These V-abilities were added to make each fight much more intense and alive. You probably won’t see the clock run out thanks to these new features that improve the gameplay and ensure each match is different and fun.

Street Fighter V is a beautiful game full of action and exciting moments, with much more improved, balanced and polished game mechanics.

42. Elite: Dangerous

Elite: Dangerous is an open-world space simulation set in the far future, in the year 3302. Your goal is to reach the status of “Elite”. You start off with a starship and some credits at the lowest ranks and climb up by fighting, trading or exploring. Will you be peaceful and just do trading and mining, or do you want to risk your life and play as a space pirate or assassin?

So many places to go, so many things to see.

Explore the 400-billion star systems by yourself in Solo mode or with tons of players in Open Play. Stumble upon various encounters in which you might meet your new allies, or your new enemies. Each decision players make can affect the whole galaxy.

This is the first game in the series to feature such a connected multiplayer experience. As more updates come along, the game keeps getting packed with more content giving you even more ways to play the fourth game in the series.

43. Star Citizen

Star Citizen is the ultimate space game putting you in an incredible sci-fi universe filled with players. What role will you take is up to you.  Will you be a trader, a mercenary, a space pirate? It’s entirely up to you.

This is an upcoming space simulation MMO for PC and Linux, and will include two main parts: first-person space combat, mining, exploration and trading with first-person shooter features in a massive persistent multiplayer universe and private servers, and even a big single-player and co-op campaign called Squadron 42.

The developers are vowing to bring the best space MMO game by putting large groups of friends to control and maneuver huge highly detailed ships.

They have received a huge amount of money thanks to the crowd funding campaigns on Kickstarter and the Roberts Space Industries website.  It funded over $2 million on Kickstarter and continues to receive funds on the Roberts Space Industries website which has raised over a whopping $113 million, setting a world record for a crowd funded game.

Star Citizen offers such an amazing, beautiful, highly-detailed galaxy full of life.

The game features a massive universe that will let you and your friends have tons and tons of amazing journeys. Play as a space pirate, a merchant, a bounty hunter, a smuggler, or an enlisted pilot. With the huge sandbox already enough to keep you busy, the game will even have a complex and rich lore that players can spend uncovering whenever they want.

Get ready to experience the most beautiful space MMO ever, featuring intense space battles and stunning visuals.

When is the game coming out?

No one knows. It is currently in alpha and has been in development for a long time. Let’s hope all that work will pay off in the end and deliver us the most immersive MMO we will ever see.

44. Eve Online

Some background story on Eve Online: 21,000 years in the future, humanity has used up most of Earth’s resources and started to colonize the rest of the Milky Way. All the expansive colonization brought back the war for resources, just like it was on Earth. But, a wormhole has been discovered that leads to a whole new galaxy called “New Eden”.

Tons of colonies were established and the wormhole got stabilized by a giant gateway called “EVE”. Unfortunately, something surprising happened; the wormhole collapsed, and destroyed the gate.

The colonies of New Eden have been left to starve. Millennia passed and the descendants of the colonists have been managing to rebuild societies, but the history of where humanity actually came from, has been lost.

EVE Online is an MMO full of life, filled with players fighting, trading and exploring all over the beautiful universe this game offers.

The game has some huge, amazing space battles.

There is a whole array of in-game professions and activities to do, including things like mining, manufacturing, trading, exploring or participating in huge wars and so on. A character advancement system allows you to train your skills passively in real time, even when you’re not logged into the game. You can take control of various customizable ships and go through a beautiful galaxy of 7,800 star systems.

EVE Online is like real life. It released back in 2003 and it still continues to have amazing content. It’s a game filled with endless experiences, a game that you can play for a very long time. There are just so many things to do that it requires so much of your time. It truly is a huge and immersive experience.

45. Mortal Kombat X

Mortal Kombat is known for a lot of things, mainly for the amount of blood and various bone breaking animations. But despite how violent it is, it is a game with lots of depth and superb gameplay.

Mortal Kombat X is the tenth main installment in the Mortal Kombat franchise, developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is a fighting game where two players fight against each other in a variety of ways, such as using special moves, Brutalities and the disgusting, horrific Fatalities.

You can choose from a variety of characters, each designed for different kinds of strategies and playing styles. Players can play in a persistent online contest where each win helps in the worldwide battle for dominance.

There’s also a really cool single-player story where players are introduced to the game’s most prolific characters, such as Scorpion and Sub-Zero, while also showing some new fighters that represent the forces of good and evil. All the beloved characters are back with eight completely new characters to play as.

The game keeps the energy meter first seen in the previous game which lets you do moves such as “X-Ray” which show you how the bones in the characters body are breaking as well as let you closely hear the gruesome sounds of the breaking bones.

This is the best Mortal Kombat game ever. With many new features, deep gameplay and stunning bone-crunching visuals, Mortal Kombat X is one of the best fighting games ever. It’s definitely the most violent game ever, that’s for sure. Just look at all those Fatalities and X-Rays, yikes.

46. Payday 2

PAYDAY 2 is an action-packed four-player co-op first-person shooter that puts you in the shoes of the good old PAYDAY gang – Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf and Chains. Hit the many banks of Washington D.C. with the all new CRIMENET network that gives you a whole amount of contracts to do. It’s time for your PAYDAY.

There’s a bunch of heists you can do offline with AI or with your friends, things like bank robberies, drug trafficking runs, rigging an election or stealing smuggled nuclear warheads. If you complete the heist silently you can get bonus experience points and money.

Lots of contracts in Payday 2 can be done in a stealthy way. Avoiding getting caught on cameras, evading or silently killing guards and keeping any civilian witnesses from calling the police will prevent the alarm from being raised giving you an experience bonus.

But if you fail to do that (and you probably will most of the time) then you have to complete your objectives and bring the loot and escape to a rendezvous point while getting nonstop attacks of police.

Get down on the ground everyone, this is a robbery! Don't move!

Take too much damage and you get knocked down, waiting for a teammate to pull you back up. If no one manages to help you or if you get shot down a few times without healing, you will be taken into custody. Playing on lower difficulty levels lets you eventually respawn but normally you’ll have to wait for your teammates to take a hostage to trade and get you back in the game. You lose if all players get shot down or are in custody.

Once you finish your heist, a screen pops up showing three cards you can choose from. This is what’s called a Payday. There’s a chance you’ll get things such as a weapon modification, a mask, a color, a material for masks or experience/money boosters. Masks are completely cosmetic and have no impact on the gameplay at all. You can also purchase and customize them if you want to look cooler.

It’s hard to fully plan out and organize a heist, as things like vaults or keycards get placed at different spots for each heist, causing panic and confusion to you and the team.

Payday 2 is a game that requires teamwork and quick improvisation to be able to pull of the biggest heist of the year.

47. Rocket League

Rocket League is a physics-based multiplayer-focused soccer game that puts you in an arena where you control a rocket-powered battle car and score goals. The game surprised many, including me when it released. It was something new, something fresh, exciting and fun, and still continues to be a great popular sports game.

You can play the game offline with bots of various difficulties or play online in either 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4 matches. It’s such a joy to score a bicycle goal or do an epic save. The game got so popular and is quite a competitive game that has started organizing tournaments and getting reputation on the Esports scene.

There’s also a season mode to play and lots of car customization.

The game has been supported with lots of content for a year and the developers want to continue doing so by adding more DLC and more free content such as new arenas and game modes.

Rocket League is actually a sequel to the 2008 Playstation 3 game, Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, developed by Psyonix.

Even though Rocket League is most popular for being a crazy mix of battle cars and soccer, it actually got a new free game mode called “Hoops mode” which is basically basketball with battle cars. 

Overall, Rocket League is a highly addictive sports game that requires lots of practice but is still a whole lot of fun and exciting. If you can get a group of friends to play with you’re sure to pull of some amazing moves once you figure out some tactics. So go out there and strike the ball into the net while doing a backflip.

48. StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void

Take the role of protagonist Hierarch Artanis, ruler of the powerful Protoss race. After many years since the home world of Aiur had fallen to the ruthless Zerg Swarm, you finally have a strong fleet of warships called the Golden Armada that are ready to help you take back Aiur. Unfortunately, another evil known as Amon wakes up from Aiur to stop you and to extinguish all life in the Koprulu Sector. Take back control of the Protoss factions and stop Amon before he takes over the whole sector.

StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void is the third and last standalone real-time strategy game in the StarCraft II trilogy.

Legacy of the Void’s campaign puts focus on the Protoss and includes a similar amount of missions as in the previous 2 campaigns, Wings of Liberty and Heart of the Swarm.

Multiplayer gets new units and improves the existing units seen in the previous games. The game also drastically changes the economic system of StarCraft II. You now start with 12 workers instead of 6 and the base has lesser resources, forcing the player to expand and as lead developer David Kim states, to “become more aggressive”.

Legacy of the Void finishes the trilogy with an amazing story, awesome music and superb gameplay. Multiplayer is better than ever before, with gameplay that’s fun for both the professional fans and new players to the series.

49. The Culling

Are you the one of sixteen contenders that will survive in this remote island paradise where you have twenty minutes to explore, craft weapons, scavenge items, build traps, hunt and kill each other?

The Culling is an action first-person multiplayer “battle royale” shooter that is currently in Early Access in development by Xaviant. You are one of sixteen players that get thrown into an arena where you must hunt for crafting supplies, craft and find weapons and cut players in half as deadly poison gas slowly fills the arena in the final stages. Use whatever tricks you have up your sleeve to win.

What makes The Culling so different from other arena-style games is how important crafting weapons are. Craft whatever you can as fast as you can to defend yourself in many crazy encounters or end up as the first player to die.

50. Dead by Daylight

Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer survival horror game where players play as the Survivors trying to escape from the violent Killer which one player controls.

Developed by Behaviour Interactive and published by Starbreeze Studios, Dead by Daylight features a group of up to four survivors that must run away from the player who controls the brutal Killer in confined areas such as a secluded forest, an abandoned junkyard, or a decrepit cornfield. Survivors play in a third-person point of view, giving them better awareness of their surroundings, while the Killer plays in first-person view.

Take the role of one of four survivors: Dwight Fairfield, Meg Thomas, Jake Park or Claudette Morel. Your objective as a survivor is to escape the area, which you can do by repairing a specific number of generators which provide power to switches that open big metal doors that lead out of the area or you can escape through a trapdoor that only opens when one survivor is left and two generators are fully repaired.

No one can hide from the Killer.

Playing as the Killer lets you choose from 3 different Killers who each have their own abilities: The Trapper, The Hillbilly or The Wraith. You can’t run or crouch, the game lets you just walk a bit faster than a sprinting survivor. You capture your prey either by hitting them twice or by grabbing them while they hide inside lockers or attempt to jump through windows.

Dead by Daylight is overall a horror game that will sure make you panic and scream as you run from the horrifying Killers and see him do various bloody things to your body once he captures you.

51. Gloria Victis

Gloria Victis is a low-fantasy MMORPG currently in Early Access. Low fantasy basically means the game is set in the real or fictional but rational world with some usual fantasy stuff like monsters and so on. With focus on realism, set out in the medieval sandbox world that features many things to do.

The game includes a realistic skill-based non-targeting combat system as you fight with other players or take part in siege warfare and battle for castles, villages and cities. With a few safe zones the game is filled with PvP, so keep an eye out for backstabbers.

Journey through a large world filled with many thugs and various monsters like man-eating ghouls, two-headed panthers and crazed manticores.

There are eight jobs you can choose to do which are just like the ones people did in the medieval times, and the jobs you and the players have will impact the game’s economy (supply and demand). Featuring a non-instanced housing system, you can build your house anywhere you want or thanks to the territory control feature you can also become a lord and start leading your army to dominate and conquer territories. The non-linear story is filled with quests of various mature themes and there’s also a really cool complex crafting system.

52. The Elder Scrolls Online

Journey into the epic world of Tamriel either alone or with friends, guildmates and thousands of alliance members as you explore a land filled with various quests and big PvP battles. Crawl through the many dungeons and caves or spend your whole time reading tons of books full of rich lore.

The Elder Scrolls: Online is a MMORPG developed by ZeniMax Online Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It has a story that connects with the previous Elder Scrolls games and is the first game in the franchise that you can play online.

There is no offline play but you can still play the game solo, doing tons of exploration and quests in a nonlinear way, just like all the past games have done.

The classical Elder Scrolls quests that send you into caves and ruins to find artifacts or kill some bandits are also present here. Some quests and puzzles you do add even more depth by changing how NPCs react to you later in the game.

Into the Crypt...

You can go do solo and group quests, engage in public dungeons, join guilds or jump in the huge PvP battles that include the game’s three player factions fighting for control over the region of Cyrodiil and the powerful throne of Tamriel.

53. Warframe

Warframe is a free-to-play third-person shooter developed by Digital Extremes. The game takes places in a sci-fi world in which you take control of a Tenno, a race of powerful warriors that survived the old war and have now woken up from a long period of cryogenic sleep only to find themselves in a war of various factions: the Grineer, a race of militarized human clones, the Corpus, a huge corporation with advanced robotics and laser technology, and the Infested, deformed victims of the Technocyte infection.

Tenno must fight back the threat and use the Warframe armor to activate their powerful abilities.

There are a lot of missions you can do both solo and online scattered throughout various planets of the solar system, the moons Phobos and Europa and dwarf planets Pluto, Ceres, Eris and Sendra. If you want more, you can access the pocket dimension called The Void if you have the key for it.

Before you begin a mission you can customize your Warframe with any color you want and equip up to three weapons: a primary weapon (such as a rifle, bow or shotgun), a secondary weapon (which is usually a pistol, but you can also equip ranged bladed weapons like the kunai here) and a melee weapon (such as swords, axes and hammers).

All of your gear can be upgraded with “mods” that you get from dead enemies or as mission rewards. You can use these mods to install, remove and upgrade into slots on the pieces of equipment.

Missions can be played with up to four players and feature a variety of objectives, things like killing enemies, retrieving data from terminals, assassinating powerful targets, defending an artifact or surviving as long as possible before extraction arrives.

Warframe is a great free-to-play game for those that love third-person shooters, featuring amazing graphics with polished, fast and fun gameplay. You’re a ninja, and in this game, “Ninjas Play Free”.  Hop in Tenno, and slash your way through various enemies with your mighty ninja sword.

54. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands

Set in a present day alternate reality Bolivia where a corrupt government lets a Colombian drug cartel named Santa Blanca take over  the country, you as an elite Ghost must weaken the drug cartel by killing the leader called El Sueno and deal with the corrupt military that is helping him. Keep ruining their plans so the locals can organize and gather more resistance to push back the cartel.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands is the tenth game in the franchise but the first to feature an open-world.  Play in four player co-op as a team of Ghosts on an undercover mission to destroy the Santa Blanca drug cartel.

Developer Ubisoft says Wildlands is their biggest open-world game ever with third and first-person shooting and driving and features a wide variety of ecosystems, such as deserts, rainforests, mountains and much more. It’s amazing if Wildlands truly is their biggest game ever, considering how big and rich with content their Far Cry games are.

Ubisoft has set out to make the most fun co-op military shooter in a big and interactive open-world. We will find out if the developers succeed in doing so once the game releases on March 7, 2017.

55. Bless Online

Bless takes place in a medieval fantasy world of war between two factions, Hieron and Union. The game is filled with beautiful areas inspired from medieval Europe and features Renaissance cultural themes and a mature plot involving politics, treason and evil tactics.

In-development by Neowiz Games, the game features a story about a decade-long war between two factions. Create your character and choose which side are you on as well as which class you want to play as.

The world looks stunning with all the details that surround you with towns and villages that actually feel realistic to go through. Running on foot would take a long time to explore the huge world this game offers. To make exploring faster you can use mounts or you can find one of many transports that go from city to city. All of the travelling happens in real time.

There are tons of PvP wars you can participate in that happen in this narrative driven world.

A classical quest system that has main and side quests seen in most MMOs is used in Bless Online, with your typical kill X amount of baddies quests or collect X amount of items.  You can level up by completing Monster Hunting quests. When you kill a Monster, an extra quest gets added to the Monster-hunting quest log and after killing the same Monster a few times you get experience points, Gold and Item rewards.

Guess what? Developers will release the game as a free-to-play MMO! It will have a cash shop though, but it will have cosmetic stuff and mounts, so hopefully the game will still be fun for anyone looking for a beautiful free-to-play game.
