Battlestate Games, the developer of the multiplayer first-person shooter, Escape from Tarkov, has announced the winners (top 4) of the latest NA Twitch Rivals: Escape from Tarkov tournament.

The event took place on October 13, 2021, at 5 pm CEST, for a total prize pool of $30k. A total of 16 teams competed in the playoffs on a double-elimination FFA bracket (4 teams per match, with 2 losing and 2 winning). For the Showmatch,16 teams sent 1 player each to play an FFA game, with the winner taking $2000 dollars.

Round 1 saw Teams SenseiScav, genoo, MisMagpie, and Viibiin being eliminated. After battling their way through the quarter-finals, teams sickdegenerate, Gingerliness, BAMBZ, and KiiNGS faced off in the semi-finals for a spot on the final match against SheefGG and Nyxia.

Team sickdegenerate powered through the semi-final with 104 points, eliminating BAMBZ, who finished with only 4 points. On the flip side of the semi-final bracket, Gingerliness knocked KiiNGS with a score of 30-2. Teams sickdegenerate and Gingerliness advanced to the final match.

As the dust settled in the wake of the final battle for the 1st prize of $8,000 and a year’s supply of Doritos (mind-blowing, I know) team SheefGG emerged clutching gold. Following closely on their heels was PoppaElite, winning a total of $4,500. Gingerliness squeezed onto the podium in third for a prize of $3,150.

The final placement and prize distribution was as follows:
