10. Solomon Kane
Solomon Kane is an internationally produced dark-fantasy-meets-16th-Century-England film, led by a character destined for hell. Kane is an ex-mercenary turned pacifist trying to redeem his soul, but when a family of Puritans Kane travels with is killed by an evil sorcerer and the eldest daughter is kidnapped, he swears to free her by killing all of the sorcerer’s followers.
Similar to Diablo 3, this film is packed with battles, violence, ghouls, and demons. Hell is around the corner at every turn.

9. Dante’s Inferno: An Animated Epic
This film is, of course, set in Hell and depicts the different circles for different sins. It is like Diablo 3 because of these central themes.

8. Beowulf
This 3D animated film retells the famous fight between Beowulf and Grendel. Don’t think the animation makes this film any less violent and action-packed – watch the trailer if you don’t believe me! For those of you who don’t know the story: Beowulf’s fight with Grendel is only the beginning of his troubles against monsters.
And like Diablo 3, the many monster-battling scenes keep you thrilled. While in Diablo 3 there are many monsters to fight, Beowulf has enough action in it to make it on this list.

7. Van Helsing
This film is another monster-fighting epic journey! Van Helsing fights unbelievable evil on a daily basis, but when he is asked to fight one of the oldest and most legendary monsters, he might have his hands full.
The different monsters in this film are sure to satisfy any fan of Diablo 3. And much like the video game, this movie an intriguing morally questionable main character.

6. The 13th Warrior
Ahmad ibn Fadlan is a new diplomat for the Caliph of Baghdad and is sent on a mission to visit the Norsemen far to the north. When a mysterious evil attacks villagers, Ahmad must help the Norsemen defeat this evil. There’s only one problem: he doesn’t even know how to fight.
Like Diablo 3, these characters are on a quest to find and conquer a mysterious evil. Certain doom awaits them.

5. Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters
What happened to Hansel and Gretel after they killed the witch that tried to cook them up? They became bounty hunters, naturally. In this movie retelling, these siblings track down witches in intense fighting scenes bound to excite.
And like Diablo 3, these witches can be pretty scary. Get ready for a thrill!

4. 300
300 is an undeniable classic and is therefore so high on this list. Filled with violence, crazy effects, and memorable movie quotes, it’s a movie you won’t soon forget. If Spartans fighting Persians in a battle to the death is your thing, you have to watch this movie.
Diablo 3 is all about the epic battles – and so is 300. There is no other movie more similar to Diablo 3 when it comes to purely intense battle scenes.

3. Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter
In this take on one of the United States’ most famous presidents, Good Abe himself fights vampires. For the good of the nation, Lincoln takes on vamps like a champ.
If you like classic good versus evil and plenty of monster-fighting – which you of course do as a fan of Diablo 3 – then you’ll love this film.

2. Constantine
Mr. Constantine is a modern occultist who understands the war between God and Lucifer; Angels and Demons. It’s the influence they have over mankind. But the suicide of a powerful psychic begins to tip that balance.
Like Diablo 3, our main character fights demons and even the devil himself. The pace of this film and the part-fascinating, part-creepy demons will keep you highly entertained.

1. Priest
In an alternate world, the remnants of a terrible war between man and vampire still has its hold over the disbanded priests who fought in it. But when strange things begin to happen, Priest suspects the vampires are coming back in force.
Much like Diablo 3, this film is sure to thrill. Between hunting and fighting vampires and a character who seeks to rid the world of evil, this film is sure to excite.
