Kir (it rhymes with “beer”) to anyone who knows her, is a veteran gamer of over 30 years, a Dungeons & Dragons purist, and a walking encyclopedia of Geek Culture at her core. A mortician by day, Kir holds degrees in both Fine Art and Mortuary Science, with a third in the works for Game Art and Development. While she has won playwright competitions and writing scholarships, she finds greater satisfaction in storyline development. Because of this, writing stories centered on game designers and their inspiration are equally as important to Kir as those concerning the art and flow of gameplay. Fantasy RPGs are her absolute favorite, with apocalyptic PVPs and Shooters following close behind. A good day for Kir would be: First, a hearty breakfast of Elder Scrolls Online and later, a lunch of Borderlands 2. Then perhaps Fortnite, Apex or Mortal Kombat X for dinner with her son, Tolkien. For dessert, either rolling Beautiful Katamari around or breaking out her copy of Alice: Madness Returns, as near-vintage sounds tasty right about now. (Or maybe Kir could just eat real food and continue writing about the games she loves so much instead.)
