Based in Lincolnshire, England; Maggie has lived in both Hong Kong and the Philippines before making her way back to her native UK. Having worked as an English teacher for six years and subsidising herself with regular travel based articles, both online and in local magazines, she has built up a modest but respectable background in writing. With two degrees in English Literature and a keen interest in apotheosis and the creation of a hero, she has a sharp eye for heroes and villains in books, games and films.
Being an avid gamer from a young age, and harbouring fond memories of tackling the Atari, Maggie is at her happiest playing RPG fantasy, horror, or good old fashioned hack and slash. Her greatest joy in writing about games and gaming is getting to share her passion with others.
