Taylor has played video games since Wave Race was the newest hit release on the Nintendo 64. He was fortunate enough to be able to create fond memories with friends huddled in front of a television with split screen (no peeking) in the age before the internet, and in front of a monitor when dial up was the best thing since sliced bread. Some of the most memorable experiences, however, were earned through hours of single player sessions, dedicated to learning the backstories of compelling characters, fighting for the fate of the universe, finding Easter eggs, and so much more. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Mass Effect, Halo, and Golden Sun, to name a very select few, laid a strong foundation for his creative process early on, which he has honed over decades primarily through writing and editing. Today, he is level 300 in both of these skills.
