Stephen is a writer, historian and a tour guide in Washington DC. He is a published historian and blogger. He has written about video games, history, travel, and Dad life. (Those did include some Dad jokes).
When Stephen graduated from college he decided he did not want to grow up, and ran down to Florida to work at Disney World. (He was a Pirate at the Pirates of the Caribbean Ride, ARRR!)

Perhaps his defining feature is an insatiable curiosity. It is perhaps for this reason that he has earned three Masters degrees: History, Education and Museum Studies.

He worked at the Smithsonian's first ever exhibition on video games, called the Art of Video Games.

His first video game system was the NES he got for Christmas in the 80s, which still works. His first website was a 1990’s Geocities page about Mega Man. He appreciates any game of quality, but has a soft spot for RPGs and Action Adventure Games. (Basically, The Legend of Zelda and all derivatives...)

He will a shortly be publishing a novel as well as a series of children's books and runs a history blog (www.historicalperceptions.com)

He prides himself by knowing a little bit about most everything. (Its that whole asking a lot of questions thing...)

He is a father of two lovely children who are slowly driving him to madness, and a loving wife whom he is the one driving mad.

He also has ADHD… oh shiny...
