Tinner
Phillip Tinner is a Texas native and lover of all things digital. A graduate of Texas A&M University and career technical writer, Phillip cut his teeth on professional writing while part of a research team developing software for the Large Hadron Collider. He has since never looked back and writes as much about the fields of science, tech, and gaming as he can. Phillip's areas of expertise in gaming journalism include monetization practices, publishing, and development, but he loves to analyze and discuss nearly all facets of the gaming industry and community.

A gamer since early childhood, Phillip has spent countless hours exploring and mastering virtual worlds over the years. He has a particular soft-spot for couch co-op games, having spent a large portion of his upbringing playing Super Smash Brothers and Halo with his father, and even now he enjoys sharing colorful indie games with his fiancée. In an increasingly cynical, multi-billion dollar industry, Phillip is always looking for video games that excite and inspire him in the same way games did when he was a child, and through his writing he hopes to help others do the same.
