Katie Laskowski is an English graduate student and contributor for Gamers Decide. Professionally writing on topics from video games and board games to films and TV series, Katie’s writing satisfies her yearning to geek out on her favorite topics while also sharing tips, news, and hacks for other pop culture-savvy folks.

While contributing to an online magazine covering women’s issues, Katie wrote on topics like films, TV series, and literature for a diverse audience. Katie served as Vice President of a Gaming Club as an undergrad student, finding engaging and impactful ways for students and community members to interact through games.

Currently, Katie is pursuing her M.A. in English while also working as an English tutor (and soon teaching college writing courses). In order to de-stress from schoolwork, she plays as many games and binges as many films/series as possible. She counts this activity as research.

Katie has an eclectic taste in games, films/TV, and music. The Elder Scrolls Online, Mario Kart, and watching the latest Horror/Fantasy/Sci-Fi films and series take up most of Katie’s time. She loves to share her recent interests and expertise with others to enhance their gaming and viewing experience.
