Kamden is an experienced writer who attended the University of North Texas, where she earned her bachelor's degree in creative writing and was published in the university's literary magazine. Her love for video games started when her brother would hand her the second SNES controller and let her "play as the bad guys" in Mega Man X. Eventually, she caught on and set out on her own path. Nowadays, she leans toward RPGs, especially those where the player's choices have an actual impact on the course of the story, because what fun is a game if you're not sweating bullets about a dialogue choice at two in the morning? Along the way, she discovered a passion for exploring the fictional worlds within video games. She quickly realized that exploring them in-game wasn’t quite enough, and found that there was even more exploration to be done on the page. This passion for exploration has helped her to hone her craft over the course of her life and is one of the major contributing factors in her decision to pursue writing as a career and share her passion with the rest of the world.
