John Conway teaches writing and literature classes to creative design majors, including game designers. Although his Ph.D. and MFA are literary based, he specializes in sci-fi, fantasy and horror. Additionally, he has published in a variety of forms, including fiction, non-fiction and feature writing; however, he loves writing about games and geek culture. He is old enough to remember when his father brought home Pong, so he has seen the industry morph and grow over the years. He enjoys both tabletop and digital gaming of all kinds but is currently obsessed with Fallout 4.
