Comic book writer Dan Maltbie loves to write character-driven stories based on the real lives of people he knows. He believes that everyone has a unique story to contribute, and coming from a long-line of scoundrels, outlaws, and freethinkers who embrace fringe ideas make his Fantasy and Science Fiction tales more autobiographical than he likes to admit.
Using his wild sense of humor and constant itch to dream, Dan began scribbling short stories in composition notebooks. He gathered his cornucopia of creative musings and took himself to Full Sail University where he enrolled in the Creative Writing for Entertainment B.F.A. program. While in the program he was subjected to different types of writing. Staying true to his roots he realized that comics and videogames were his best subjects.
