Myers
Christopher R. Myers was born to do two things, write and play games, luckily there is plenty of both to go around. His path towards expertise was assured after his grandfather taught him to "get back on the Yoshi" when Chris was only 3 years old. Christopher's prowess for the written word was honed on typewriters and word processors using superhero epics and post-apocalyptic romances to better understand the world outside his window. He writes with self deprecating humor while relating games to personal mental health in order to better connect with an audience. Allowing his atypical neurology to inform how he plays and interacts with games has built Chris into a leader among his peers in talking about how games and the neurodivergent have informed one another in the 21st century. A professional geek Chris loves Spider-Man, Community, & can't stop playing Morrowind after all these years. During his college years he was an accomplished member of a high fantasy improv group creating long form epic narratives, this experience makes him a respected creative expert on the symbiotic relationship of player/narrative. Chris loves writing about games, it allows him to use dry wit and personal struggle to relate to the world through common interests.
