The Ultranationalist terrorist Vladimir Makarov has successfully manipulated Russia into declaring war on the US. The conflict begins as Russian troops start attacking US soil and also Europe, including England, France, and Germany. The world is on the brink of destruction and Makarov is determined to bring civilization to its knees.
