After a lab accident, a scientist wakes up in a mysterious world. Using his wits he must uncover the mysteries of this new world while battling demons, biomechanoids and other enemies. Biomechanoids are robots with organic tissue over them, similar to terminators (from the movie).

Axiom Verge features tons of weapons, items and abilities. Cracking the game requires players to find glitches that can corrupt enemies and solve puzzles.
