[Top 10] VALORANT Best Crosshairs (Used by the Best Players in the World)

In VALORANT, crosshairs play a key role when it comes to landing your shots. Playing with the default crosshair is a huge mistake, and changing it to something smaller that suits you can be like night and day. However, finding a good crosshair for you can be very difficult at first, as there are so many settings to tweak.

Thankfully, VALORANT added a feature to have various crosshair profiles. This means that you can quickly switch back and forth between old and new crosshairs until you find the one you feel most comfortable with. This article will suggest 10 of the best crosshairs used by professionals (in no particular order). Since you can add 10 crosshair profiles, it’s advised to add all 10 of these crosshairs to your list and test them all out.

1. Subroza

Subroza’s crosshair is on the smaller end of crosshair sizes. Because of the color, it’s strongly recommended to use yellow enemy highlight colors. Subroza is a 24-year-old pro that retired from CS:GO to pursue a career in VALORANT. Currently, he plays on TSM, where he has won multiple A-Tier tournaments.

Strengths:

  • Small enough so it doesn’t block enemies
  • Easy to see and contrasts well with yellow enemies

Settings:

  • Crosshair: Red/On/1/1/Off/-/-/Off/Off
  • Inner Lines: On/1/2/1/3/Off/-/Off/-
  • Outer Lines: Off/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/

2. Tenz

Tenz’s crosshair changes pretty much every time he streams, nevertheless, as of 9/3/2021, his crosshair is a very solid choice. It offers a color that contrasts well with almost every spot on any map (but may be harder to see on bright surfaces without outlines).

Tenz is a Canadian professional of Vietnamese descent who moved to VALORANT after playing for several “Tier 2” and “Tier 3” teams on CS:GO. Now, he plays for Sentinels, arguably the best VALORANT team as of today, which is a huge achievement for this 20-year-old player.

Strengths:

  • Its color is cyan, one of the best available
  • Thin and easy to see heads

Settings:

  • Crosshair: Cyan/Off/-/-/Off/-/-/Off/Off
  • Inner Lines: On/1/6/2/3/Off/-/Off/-
  • Outer Lines: Off/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-

3. ScreaM

Known for his one taps, ScreaM has a unique crosshair that feels really comfortable and is extremely easy to see no matter where you’re looking at. This professional player comes from CS:GO, where he was very popular among the playerbase. However, after a small fall from grace, he moved on to VALORANT, where he currently plays for the prestigious Team Liquid.

Strengths:

  • Has a unique black border that feels like a circle in-game
  • A good alternative to the classic square crosshair.

Settings:

  • Crosshair: Cyan/On/1/1/On/1/3/Off/Off
  • Inner Lines: On/1/1/1/1/Off/-/Off/-
  • Outer Lines: Off/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-

4. ShahZaM

This crosshair provides a clear view of the enemy player’s heads, even from medium to far ranges. On top of that, it’s somewhat transparent, which means that even if it’s covering an enemy head, you can still see under your crosshair.

ShahZaM, as is a common theme on this list, also comes from CS:GO, where he played on amazing teams like Optic Gaming and compLexity Gaming. His CS:GO career was rather good, but thankfully, after moving to VALORANT ShahZaM went on to being one of the greatest and most praised pros. He is currently Sentinel’s IGL (In-Game Leader) and he is loved by the VALORANT playerbase for his personality and skill.

Strengths:

  • Slightly transparent yet, very visible

Settings:

  • Crosshair: Green/On/0.5/1/Off/-/-/Off/Off
  • Inner Lines: On/0.754/5/2/3/Off/-/Off/-
  • Outer Lines: Off/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-

5. WARDELL

This crosshair is very unique, as it has a slight white blur in the middle, which at certain ranges is about the size of a head. WARDELL, also coming from CS:GO (where he played on the same team as Subroza), is extremely popular for his ability when he holds a sniper. During VALORANT’s early days he was often used as the prime example of the perfect Opper (sniper).

Strengths:

  • Has a unique white blur in the middle

Settings:

  • Crosshair: White/Off/-/-/On/0.22/4/Off/Off
  • Inner Lines: On/1/4/2/2/Off/-/Off/-
  • Outer Lines: Off/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-

6. Boaster

To start off, this crosshair is extremely small. So small, in fact, that the image above had to be zoomed in greatly just to clearly see the four dots. Despite that, this crosshair is extremely easy to see, no matter what surface you are looking at. The fact that it has almost the same amount of black and white, makes it easy to see on both bright and dark surfaces.

Boaster is a multi-talented player, who, despite his name, is rather humble and charismatic. He often streams on twitch, where he actively coaches his viewers on how to improve their game sense with him as an example. He is currently the IGL for fnatic, which is one of the few teams that can stand up against Sentinels.

Strengths:

  • Very small, yet, easy to see

Settings:

  • Crosshair: White/On/1/1/Off/-/-/Off/Off
  • Inner Lines: On/1/1/1/1/Off/-/Off/-
  • Outer Lines: Off/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-

7. aceu

Because aceu’s white crosshair is also quite small, it feels extremely easy to hit one taps with it and it will never block enemy heads. Unlike other entries on this list, aceu actually comes from Apex Legends, where he has played and won several tournaments. During VALORANT’s early days, aceu was widely considered as one of the best, if not the best Jett main in the game. This player is now retired from the professional scene, and he streams full-time.

Strengths:

  • Small and thin, which makes it super easy to see your target

Settings:

  • Crosshair: White/Off/-/-/Off/-/-/Off/Off
  • Inner Lines: On/1/3/1/1/Off/-/Off/-
  • Outer Lines: Off/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-

8. shroud

This is one of the few crosshairs used by pros that has firing error turned on. According to shroud though, this feature will become much more relevant because the “firing error multiplier” is now customizable in your crosshairs.

At this point, everyone who has seriously played VALORANT or CS:GO knows who shroud is. Coming from Cloud 9 during its golden era, shroud has become the most recognized American professional, racking up thousands upon thousands of subscribers on twitch. Like aceu, shroud has left the professional scene and is now fully dedicated to content creation.

Strengths:

  • Has firing error
  • Provides a clean view of enemy heads

Settings:

  • Crosshair: Cyan/Off/-/-/On/0.4/2/On/Off
  • Inner Lines: On/1/2/8/4/Off/-/On/0.288
  • Outer Lines: Off/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-

9. SicK

Sick has this small green crosshair that has all 4 lines quite spaced out, which allows for easier adjustments when aiming near enemy heads. On top of that, it has a slight transparency to it, which means that it hardly ever blocks your target.

Sick is a 22-year-old that played on several teams with ShahZaM back in his CS:GO days, including TSM, Misfits, and compLexity Gaming. Later, he would be signed by the prestigious team, Sentinels, where he would reunite with ShahZaM and go on to win most of VALORANT’s major tournaments.

Strengths:

  • Easy to see and transparency makes it easy to see targets under it

Settings:

  • Crosshair: Green/On/1/1/Off/-/-/Off/Off
  • Inner Lines: On/0.808/3/2/5/Off/-/Off/-
  • Outer Lines: Off/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-

10. mixwell

This white blocky crosshair belongs to mixwell, a Spanish pro who currently plays on G2 Esports. He is one of the few top-tier professional VALORANT players from Spain, and, like almost every other pro VALORANT player, comes from CS:GO, where he played in Optic Gaming. Unlike other entries on this list, mixwell won several large events, even having his team reach the #2 spot on HLTV rankings.

Strengths:

  • Blocky, therefore, very easy to see
  • Has enough space to see heads from medium to far ranges

Settings:

  • Crosshair: White/Off/-/-/Off/-/-/Off/Off
  • Inner Lines: On/1/4/3/2/Off/1/Off/1
  • Outer Lines: Off/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-
