If I’ve to pick a protagonist who is the epitome of goofiness and goodness - it’d be Yuji Itadori! He is the main lead of the famous anime Jujutsu Kaisen, and you simply cannot hate him even if you tried.

Let’s take a look at the top 10 best Yuji Itadori scenes that had me loving this character. So, let’s begin!

10. Yuji's Selfless Act - The Creation of Sukuna's Vessel

Yuji's kindness and selflessness are on full display in the pilot episode, when he eats a cursed finger to save his pals.

He makes the ultimate sacrifice, and ends up becoming the host of the terrifying cursed spirit: Ryomen Sukuna.

This classic scene not only sets the stage for the upcoming exciting events, but also demonstrates the great extent to which Yuji will go in order to save those he cares about.

9. Yuji's Courage: First Cursed Spirit Encounter

This was the moment when I actually started loving this character. The scene where Yuji first confronts a cursed spirit showcases his amazing bravery and pure willpower.

Despite his lack of familiarity with curses and Jujutsu, he fights the monster with all his might in an effort to save his buddies.

This scene is very beautiful and unforgettable because of his courage and dedication to protecting those he cares about.

And who doesn’t love a caring man?

8. Yuji's Cleverness: The Pact with Sukuna

When Sukuna and Yuji had their first “confrontation” it was understood who would win.

However, Yuji takes control of the situation quite smartly and makes a bargain with Sukuna, the King of Curses, in an effort to spare his own life.

Even though Sukuna tried to outsmart him, he still ensures that no matter what, everyone’s safety is a priority. Such a cutie!

This scene is a great example of Yuji's wit, as it proves that he has the ability to make quick, intelligent decisions.

7. Yuji’s Bravery: The Detention Center

Yuji’s actual display of courage was shown in this scene, when he stood his ground against the special grade curse spirit.

Any normal sorcerer would’ve been scared to death as the finger bearer spirit was incredibly ugly and terrifying - and let’s not talk about his powers! They were too dangerous for a newbie.

But Yuji didn’t budge and continued to fight just so that his friends could safely make it out of the building.

We stan such an amazing man!

6. Yuji's Tears: Mourning Junpei

Here's where we delve into the emotional territory. Yuji has a heart of gold, but that doesn't mean he's immune to heartbreak. When his friend Junpei meets a tragic end, Yuji is crushed. This scene is a tearjerker, showing Yuji's vulnerability and how deeply he cares about his friends.

You'd need a heart of stone not to be moved by Yuji's tears. It's a reminder that beneath the goofy exterior, there's a heart that feels pain, grief, and loss just like the rest of us.

5. Yuji’s Resurrection: When He Came Back from the Dead

One of the most shocking moments early in the series is Itadori's death during his fight against a powerful curse. His demise sends shockwaves through his friends and mentors.

However, the shock turns into joy when Itadori is resurrected.

This event not only demonstrates Itadori's resilience but also signifies a significant shift in his perspective about death and his role as a sorcerer.

Moreover, his death and resurrection teaches him the real risks associated with being a jujutsu sorcerer and cements his resolve to use his power to save others.

4. Yuji’s Resilience: Training with Gojo

His clownish nature aside, Yuji does know when to get serious. He shows this trait for the first time when he started his training as a jujutsu sorcerer under Gojo Saturo. We see Itadori really toughing it out.

He's keen to learn, even when it's really hard physically to control his cursed energy. This shows us how committed he is to becoming stronger.

Moreover, his growing respect for his teacher, Gojo, is shaping him into a better jujutsu sorcerer. It's clear that he looks up to Gojo and learns a lot from him!

3. Yuji & Nobara: Their Epic Fight As A Team

In Episode 23, Itadori and Nobara face off against two curses. Here, Itadori's maturity shines.

He's no longer the newbie, rushing in without a plan. He fights smart, showing improved strategy and control over his cursed energy.

Itadori coordinates perfectly with Nobara, showing growth in his team skills. More than ever, he proves himself to be reliable, ensuring Nobara's safety and leading them towards victory.

It's clear in this scene that Itadori is not just a powerhouse anymore. His protective nature, strategic thinking, and improved control over his cursed energy demonstrate his transformation into a well-rounded jujutsu sorcerer.

2. Yuji & Todo: Their Beautiful Friendship

Itadori's friendship with Todo emerges as one of the most unexpected, yet defining relationships for Itadori's character. The turning point for Itadori's growth and their friendship comes during their team-up against the Special Grade Curse, Hanami.

With Todo's guidance, he learns to tap into and use his cursed energy more efficiently - a significant step in his growth as a jujutsu sorcerer.

This battle brings Itadori and Todo closer, solidifying their unique bond. Itadori, in particular, starts acknowledging Todo as a true friend and mentor. His respect for Todo grows, and he becomes more open to learning and improving.

Most importantly, Itadori's innate kindness and empathy are further highlighted in this relationship. His acceptance of Todo's unusual friendship shows his open-heartedness, and his willingness to learn from Todo reflects his humility and determination to protect his friends at all costs.

1. Yuji Itadori Being A Ray of Sunshine

A lot of main characters are showcased to be troublesome, and serious. However, with Itadori - things are totally different! Even though JJK doesn’t have a happy-go-lucky storyline, and it deals with curses and evil spirits, Itadori still manages to make it lighthearted and enjoyable.

His positive nature, goofy smile and the ability to make quick friendships allows him to stand out amongst many characters, and that is the major reason why I love him!

Conclusion

And there you go! The top 10 best Yuji Itadori scenes that will definitely make you fall in love with him. Itadori is a complete goofball, but he isn’t stupid, and is always willing to help others.

I’ve fallen in love with him - what about you?
