These loadouts are the most successful and meta-essential combinations in the game. That being said, armor, health types, and characters have been excluded. Players should try to find the most protective armor and prioritize Medkits and Shield Batteries over less powerful health items.
There is no strategy involved in wearing Grey over Purple armor, or carrying Shield Cells instead of Batteries. It doesn’t matter if you’re Shroud, Seagull, or God at the Golden Gates, you still need that Shield Battery. As for characters, some are better than others in certain situations, but Apex boils down to teamwork, accuracy, and seamless adaptability.

- Similar fire rates mean smooth transitions between the two guns.
- Arc-Stars and heavy rounds slow enemies, making hitting them easier.

What Makes it Superior
- Both weapons are best in class for close range.
- Slowing enemies with Arc Stars, then shooting them is a simple strategy.
- Spray and Pray or semi-automatic for any stressful situation.
4. “The Noob”

- Frag Grenades
What Makes it Superior
- Everything is easy and straightforward to use and understand.
- Decent midrange and excellent close range.
- Both weapons are fully automatic with mid-tier fire rates, which allows for easy aim adjustment and good ammo consumption.

What Makes it Superior
- Constant damage output for whittling enemy shields and morale.
- Enemies won’t have ammo if you take it all.
- Thermite grenades pair well with high capacity magazines to make for excellent crowd control.

What Makes it Superior
- Best damage per shot in the game, period.
- Both are semi-automatic, so the Arc Stars can slow targets, making them easier to hit.
- All gold weapons immediately increase player performance.
7. “Tried and True”
- R301
- R99
- Frag Grenades
What Makes it Superior
- Full auto and decent damage make for easy-to-use but effective weapons.
- Both the weapons and grenades are damage focused. Targets aren’t slowed, tracked, or crowd controlled, just eliminated.
- Suitable for all engagement distances, even fairly long range.
